Two men have been arrested following a discovery made by police after a gas explosion in east Manchester. Emergency services swarmed Coatbridge Street, in Clayton, following an explosion at a terraced house yesterday evening (September 13).
Windows were shattered in the blast while neighbours were told that the scene was unsafe. An air ambulance was also seen landing nearby, although police told passers-by that no serious injuries occurred.
In an update issued today (Saturday), Greater Manchester Police confirmed that officers responding to the blast discovered a small cannabis farm in a room at the property.
