A 52-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
On Wednesday night (February 15) police were called to a home in Whalley Range regarding the concern for welfare of a man. According to police the 32-year-old man was severely injured at another property in Bolton, and then made his way to his house in Whalley Range where he lived and called for help. A 52-year-old man was arrested this morning (February 16) on suspicion of attempted murder and is currently in police custody.
The injured man is currently in hospital and investigations continue. A specialist search unit was seen on Poplar Street in Horwich this afternoon (February 16) where a cordon was in place.
