Police investigating the death of a man in Lanark have made an arrest.Robert Yuill was discovered early last Saturday morning on Smyllum Road in the town.Emergency services attended after he was found there at around 9.45am but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police were treating the death as murder.Detectives appealed to the public for information in an attempt to establish the full circumstances of what had happened.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

We are providing his family with support as our investigation continues to establish the full circumstances of what happened.“We would again urge anyone who may have any information to get in touch.
