Police launch urgent search for missing Glasgow pensioner who suffers from dementia

Police have launched an urgent search for a vulnerable Glasgow woman. Ann Ferguson, 69, was last seen in the Edgemont Street area of the city at around 5.30am on Sunday, December 18.Officers are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of the pensioner who suffers from dementia.

She is described as 5ft tall, of slim build with grey or brown hair.Ann was last seen wearing jeans and a fawn top. Police are asking anyone who may have seen her to get in touch and assist with their inquiries.Sergeant Graeme Waite, of Cathcart Police Station, said: “Ann suffers from dementia and we are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.
