Dr Hilary was talking about the effects of long Covid, the condition people are left with for sometimes months after falling ill, and the potential of it being limited by a third Covid booster jab.

Glasgow and Dundee have also been affected. According to the complaints tracking website Downdetector, more than 2,000 complaints were made at the height of the crash at about 9.30pm last night.The problems have continued this morning, with more than 1,000 complaints logged so far.
