Police have issued an update after paedophile rock star Ian Watkins was stabbed at HMP Wakefield. His injuries are understood to not be life-threatening.

The former Lostprophets frontman was taken to hospital after being attacked at the jail in West Yorkshire, according to police.

Prison staff notified emergency services of an assault on a prisoner on the afternoon of Saturday, August 5.
