Police have issued an update after a cyclist was killed in a crash with a HGV near the Trafford Centre on Thursday evening (August 10).
The collision, at the roundabout at Ellesmere Circle, Trafford Park, was reported at around 5.10pm with emergency services racing to the scene during rush hour.
The collision caused a 58-year-old man 'to come off his bicycle' before he was later pronounced dead in hospital around an hour later. In a new update, Greater Manchester Police said the suspect has now been released on bail. After the fatal collision, a huge cordon was put in place with officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) also at the scene conducting investigations.
