Police are appealing for information after three people in fancy dress masks attempted to rob a jeweller’s in Cheshire. Officers were called to reports of an attempted robbery at a shop on London Road in Alderley Edge at 9.03am on Friday morning (March 25).
Enquiries established that staff refused to open the doors to the trio as they tried to gain entry to the premises. The three offenders then fled the scene, leaving in a red Fiat 500 which was parked nearby.
The group then drove to Oak Road in Prestbury before abandoning the car. Police said that the three people then got into a black people carrier/estate-style car before driving away from the road. READ MORE: "At long last...
