Denise Welch has revealed that she was left fearing for her life after a stalker started a fire outside of her house. The Loose Women panellist, 63, was forced to flee her home in September 2020 after Toraq Wyngard set fire to a skip outside the property in Cheshire.
Following the ordeal, Wyngard was sentenced at Chester Crown Court and received seven years and seven months behind bars earlier this month.
And now TV personality Denise has detailed the scary incident to The Sun. Speaking to the publication, she said: “We thought he was trying to kill us. “It was just terrifying.
It doesn’t bear thinking about.” Bravely recalling the frightening ordeal, the Waterloo Road actress revealed that she’d been at the home with her husband Lincoln Townley, his son and her brother-in-law.
