Police are hunting the driver of a car stolen in Livingston after a hit-and-run. The red Audi was taken from the Livingston area.
The hit-and-run incident happened on Mosshead Road, Kilmarnock, around 7.10pm on Friday, January 19 and involved the driver of a red Audi and a pedestrian.
The car left the scene but was later traced abandoned on an unclassified road between the A719 and B744, Tarbolton. It was discovered that the car had been stolen from the Livingston area.
The 43-year-old male pedestrian suffered minor injuries but did not require medical treatment. Ayrshire detective constable Ross Brierley said: “Enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this incident are ongoing and we are appealing for anyone with information to come forward." Anyone with information should contact officers on 101, quoting reference 3434 of January 19.
