The 22-year-old has already achieved one of those, having enjoyed his full debut in front of 45,000 fans at Ibrox in Saturday’s 2-0 Scottish Cup win over Ayr.
It was certainly a step up from Nordsjaelland’s 10,000-capacity Right to Dream Park, where his sparkling performances over the last few seasons made Diomande one of the most valuable gems in Danish football.
While bigger and better occasions could well lie in store in the not too distant future, the £4.5million midfielder believes he has much to do in Govan before he earns the right to live out his dream for real.
