A police cordon remains in place this morning after a group of men were shot at in Ardwick in a 'targeted attack'. The terrifying incident happened on the A6 Stockport Road, near to the McDonald's and O2 Apollo, at around 3pm yesterday (Thursday).
Officers were scrambled to the scene to reports of gunshots being fired. Police said a group of males were 'targeted' by a man in a car.
The gunman fled the scene. An investigation was launched yesterday with a manhunt now underway to track down the suspect. This morning, a cordon remains in place on a stretch of the A6.
