Cheshire Police are 'carrying out an investigation into corporate manslaughter' at the hospital where Lucy Letby murdered seven babies.
The investigation will 'consider areas including senior leadership' at the Countess of Chester Hospital between June 2015 and June 2016, the time period when Letby killed seven babies and attempted to kill six others.
Police said they will investigate 'decision making to determine whether any criminality has taken place'. Letby, 33, was sentenced to a whole life order.
She will face a retrial on an outstanding allegation she attempted to murder a baby girl.
