Police blocked off a road in Openshaw on Wednesday afternoon (April 12) after a collision between two cars that saw a damaged bumper ripped off.
Officers and paramedics were called to Ogden Lane shortly after 1pm to reports of the road traffic collision involving a Mercedes and Vauxhall.
All drivers and passengers were checked over following the crash. Pictures taken from the scene show a number of police vehicles in attendance with the bumper from one of the vehicles completely torn off and left on the pavement. Buses diverted temporarily as emergency services worked at the scene. The crash happened at the junction with Stanley Street.
