A pedestrian in his 30s is in a critical condition in hospital after a crash in Bolton last night. Police scrambled to Bolton Road in Farnworth at 9:30pm to the crash, which happened at the junction with Gladstone Road.

It has been established that the collision occurred between a white BMW and a pedestrian. The pedestrian – a man in his 30s — sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital and remains in a critical condition.

Officers are now appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have footage of the incident - including CCTV or dashcam - to please get in touch. You can do so by calling GMP's Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 0161 856 4741 quoting incident 3818 of 28/4/2023.
