Pedestrian in 'critical condition' and driver arrested after BMW crash

A pedestrian in his 30s is in a critical condition in hospital after a crash in Bolton last night. Police scrambled to Bolton Road in Farnworth at 9:30pm to the crash, which happened at the junction with Gladstone Road.

It has been established that the collision occurred between a white BMW and a pedestrian. The pedestrian – a man in his 30s — sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital and remains in a critical condition.
