Police appeal after car set on fire and house damaged by gang of men in Rochdale

For the latest Rochdale news sign up to the MyRochdale newsletter here Police are appealing for information after a gang of men set a car on fire and damaged a house in Rochdale.

Emergency crews were called to a blaze on Marne Crescent at around 12.15am on Wednesday morning (May 26). They found two vehicles had been damaged - one had been set alight.

Damage was also found against the side of a house. It is believed the damage was caused by a gang of four men, officers said.

They travelled along Marne Crescent in a light coloured vehicle then fled the scene in the direction on Bury Road. An investigation is now underway and officers are appealing for anyone with information - particularly anyone who has dash-cam footage - to come forward.
