The 18-year-old has not featured at all so far this term due to a knee injury picked up in pre-season. The midfielder is now back in training and could make the squad for Saturday’s trip to Sheffield United, if deemed fit enough.
The teenager impressed over the summer, with Erik ten Hag deciding to start him against Real Madrid during the tour of the US.
His night lasted just two minutes after sustaining an unfortunate knock to the leg.
