Pixar hinted at plans for the future, which involve revisiting some of their most iconic films for new movies. Leading up to Inside Out 2, released nearly a decade after the original movie premiered in 2015, a report revealed that the company is hoping for a new beginning.

The franchises last dropped Finding Dory in 2016 and The Incredibles 2 in 2018, but the stories could pick up again moving forward.
Pixar’s president Jim Morris told the outlet that there are plans to release three movies every two years and to alternate between reboots and new stories.
