Among animated pics, Inside Out 2‘s Monday is the third best following Incredibles 2, Shrek 2‘s $23.4M on May 31, 2004. Among all Mondays at the domestic B.O., Inside Out 2 ranks 22nd.
Running four-day total for the Amy Poehler voiced sequel is now $176.4M. The running cume worldwide is $333.8M after a $41.8M global Monday.
Inside Out 2‘s final weekend was $154.2M after a Sunday of $39.4M, -23% from Saturday’s $51.1M. Given the female skewing sequel, it’s comp internally at the studio has been 2016’s Finding Dory.
