Six years after she acted as her sister the Duchess of Cambridge's maid of honour, it was time for Pippa Middleton to take centre stage.

She married her fiance James Matthews in a stunning ceremony, with a star-studded guestlist and Prince George and Princess Charlotte acting as pageboy and bridesmaid.

And while the bride was glad to have sister's royal in-laws there on her big day, special measures had to be taken to ensure they didn't steal the spotlight.

Kate decided not to be a bridesmaid to ensure she didn't distract from Pippa, but the biggest issue was Meghan Markle, who has just started dating Prince Harry.
