Piers Morgan reacts as 'cowardly' troll who sent him death threats is 'arrested'

Piers Morgan, 56, was over the moon to read that the online troll who sent him and his son Spencer Morgan, 28, death threats had been reportedly "arrested".

According to the front page of The Sun, "cops swooped on the suspect after a six-month investigation".The chilling threats saw the user brand Piers a "marked man" and that no security measures could save him.In one message to the star, the suspect wrote: "You're a marked man.

Calling the police, big tech or beefing up your security isn’t going to stop us getting to you, this isn’t a threat piers, it’s a promise.(sic)"Your getting killed."(sic)He also messaged Spencer, adding: "If you don’t get your dad, your getting it or your mum."(sic)It is understood that the man responsible for the chilling claims is to have been arrested under the Malicious Communications Act.It was reported that he was "arrested on suspicion of sending death threats on August 3" and his phone and tablets were removed for forensic analysis, but there has been no official decision on a charge as of yet.In light of the news, Piers was pleased the culprit would have to face up to his actions.Sharing The Sun's post on Twitter, he wrote: "Cowardly threats have consequences."Fans rushed to the comment section to share their thoughts, with one praising: "So they should - they shouldn’t be able to hide behind a computer screen and not face consequences."Another added: "Don’t understand why people do death threats on social media the whole point of democracy is the risk at being offended or we all lose.""Wth, if you don't like someone, just don't listen or read what they say.
