But he made it back to the UK in the nick of time before the two-week quarantine rules were put in place, and headed straight for a fresh trim after landing on home soil.
Taking to Instagram, the father-of-four snapped up a fun selfie as two hairdressers stood behind him. The snap showed the outspoken telly presenter don a blue face mask, while the hairdressers were armed with face coverings and visors.
