Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.
She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.
She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.
Piers Morgan has said that he wouldn't have won his TRIC Award without Meghan Markle after sarcastically thanking her during his acceptance speech this week.The Talk TV host picked up the award for Interview of the Year at Tuesday's TRIC Awards, telling the audience that he wanted to thank Meghan Markle as "without her contribution to my career", he wouldn't be at TalkTV.
Speaking to OK! exclusively after his win, Piers added: "Well, obviously without her I wouldn't be at Talk TV. So again, thank you Meghan." The presenter was previously an anchor on Good Morning Britain for six years before his exit in 2021.
Piers left the show after refusing to apologise for comments he made on-air about the Duchess of Sussex following her interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Discussing Meghan's comment that she "didn't want to be alive anymore", Piers said that he didn't "believe a word" that she said.
