mirror.co.ukPierre-Emerick Aubameyang is hopeful Lyon star Houssem Aouar completes a transfer to Arsenal before deadline day after hailing the midfielder's talents.
The 22-year-old has been heavily linked with a switch to The Emirates but a deal still appears to be some way off. Arsenal lodged a bid of around £32million for Aouar last week but it was rejected by Lyon as it falls well short of their £55m valuation of the player.
The Gunners are still in the market for a midfielder having already failed with bids for Atletico Madrid's Thomas Partey, while Chelsea's Jorginho is also an option, but Aubameyang has now given his verdict on Lyon star Aouar.
