Arsenal could well still make a move for Lyon playmaker Houssem Aouar, and it would not be a surprise to see them make another bid for the player in January.
That is the opinion of former Gunners forward Kevin Campbell, who is convinced that the club will not be deterred after a move for the Frenchman broke down this summer.
The Gunners were strongly linked with the 22-year-old in the last few weeks, but Lyon held firm over their £55m valuation of the player and in the end nothing materialised.
Arsenal instead splashed the cash on Thomas Partey from Atletico Madrid on deadline day, but there is speculation that they have not yet given up on Aouar.
