Pictures appear to show the bonnet of a bus ripped off and a damaged car after a crash in Manchester city centre. The front bumper of a Bee Network bus is shown to be lying in the road in pieces while a back door of a car on the passenger side appears crushed.
A section of the road surrounding the two vehicles appears to have been taped off with a police car parked outside the Clonezone store on Sackville Street. A police van was seen blocking off Sackville Street just before 7pm but the road and Sackville Gardens remained open to pedestrians.
