A person was rushed to hospital after a reported crash on a 'rat run' road in Stockport on Monday evening (June 10). Emergency services descended on the scene on Osborne Street, in Bredbury, at around 5.20pm.

An air ambulance was also scrambled to the scene and landed in a nearby field. It was reported that a car had been ploughed into a number of other vehicles.

Residents have since blasted the way drivers use the residential street as a 'cut through' and 'rat run'. The road was taped off for a number of hours with a huge cordon in place amid investigations.
