And now, Phillip's return date to the show has reportedly been set, with a source telling The Sun: "Both Phillip and ITV agreed the time was right for his return." It was added: "He is keen for normal life to return and is very grateful for all the support from colleagues and friends behind the scenes.
Everyone at ITV wants him back on air." OK! has contacted an ITV representative for comment. In his absence, Alison Hammond and Joel Dommett filled in for him, along with Holly Willoughby.
If Phil returns, he will be without his co-star Holly who has revealed that she will have to stand down from her hosting responsibilities on This Morning for the week due to sudden health issues.
