Phillip Schofield
Phillip Bryan Schofield (born 1 April 1962) is an English television presenter who works for ITV. He is currently the co-presenter of This Morning (2002–present) and Dancing on Ice (2006–2014, 2018–present) alongside Holly Willoughby. His other work for ITV includes All Star Mr & Mrs (2008–2016), The Cube (2009–2015), and 5 Gold Rings (2017–present). Schofield gained national attention working for the BBC, first as a continuity presenter for Children's BBC on weekdays from 1985 to 1987, then as a presenter on the children's Saturday morning magazine show Going Live! between September 1987 and April 1993.

Phillip Schofield has revealed the "heartbreaking" news that his mum, Pat, has died. He released a statement today following her passing.The former This Morning presenter posted on Instagram to tell followers what had happened and posted photographs of his loved one in happier times.The 62-year-old wrote: "Today, at 3pm and after a heartbreaking weekend, my magnificent mum decided it was time to go to her beloved Brian."Over three days, we held her, loved her, hugged her and said everything that needed to be said.

She was calm, peaceful, beautiful and dignified. I will forever be proud and privileged that she was my mum."The Mirror reports he added: "Our eternal thanks to the paramedics, Treliske A&E and Critical Care team who have been, in the past and this weekend, my mum's and our angels.

Your love and care has been our saviour."The TV star did not confirm his mother's cause of death. Phillip had previously discussed his mother’s health woes during his time on a remote island filming Channel 5 series Cast Away, which aired last month.The former presenter confessed his shock when both his mum and brother, Timothy, were diagnosed with the same serious health condition.
