Phillip Schofield has received his Covid jab. The This Morning star, who hosts the daytime favourite with Holly Willoughby, shared a snap of the moment as a masked up NHS worker administered his Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine.

Phillip smiled behind his mask as he took the opportunity to thank NHS workers. "All painlessly jabbed up," he wrote, "that couldn't have been any easier, more efficient or friendlier, thank you to Lisa and the team.".

Sharing the snap to his Instagram Stories, Phillip followed it with a look at a Covid-19 information leaflet and vaccine card.

The recommended dosage for the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine is two doses at an interval of eight to 12 weeks, meaning Phillip will need a second injection down the line.
