The Ibrox boss was grateful for telly official Andrew Dallas’ late intervention as the decision to penalise Stefan Gartenmann’s stoppage-time tug on Connor Goldson saw his team to rescue a Pittodrie point.
While James Tavernier’s successful spot-kick sent the travelling Gers faithful wild as the skipper cancelled out Bojan Miovski’s opener to snatch a 1-1 draw, the decision left Barry Robson and his Dons side stunned.
But Clement insists referee Nick Walsh got the call spot on after being sent to the screen to review the contentious penalty incident.
