Sam Lammers antics of complaining to Rangers youngster Ross McCausland for his own mistake has sent two pundits in to a rage. The beleaguered Dutchman has massively failed to make the grade since arriving from Atalanta in the summer as a Michael Beale recruit.
Lammers has just two goals to his name in 27 appearances for the Light Blues this campaign, with some Ibrox fans becoming increasingly restless with the 26-year-old who cost a hefty £3.5million.
The attacker was left on the bench by Philippe Clement as Rangers saw off Hearts with Abdallah Sima on target in a 1-0 victory at Tynecastle. But one flashpoint didn't escape the ire of fans in the final minute of stoppage time as newly-renewed winger McCausland dug Rangers out of a hole with a ball forward only for Lammers to head on to nobody.
The Dutch forward could then be seen turning to the 20-year-old and complaining, despite McCausland being yards away and on the deck. That act was enough to light a fire in Derek Ferguson, who reckons it was Lammers who should've been the subject of heavy criticism.
