PFA Awards postponed following Premier League coronavirus suspension

This season's PFA awards have been postponed with the Premier League unaware of when the season will conclude. The outbreak of coronavirus has seen England's top four divisions come to a stand still.

It has seen the annual awards that recognises the Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year postponed until a later date.

Liverpool, who had looked set to win the title in record breaking fashion, are aiming to see their player win the Player of the Year award for a third straight year following successes for Mo Salah and Virgil van Dijk.

A statement from the PFA said: "In light of the unprecedented crisis the UK is facing around the COVID-19 virus it has been decided to postpone this year’s PFA Awards - originally scheduled for Sunday
