The husband is said to have fled the restaurant soon after the shooting, hopping into his Maserati where he shot himself in the head.A representative for Harris County Sheriff's Office, Major Susan Cotter, said: "When he returned, he shot the male she was with multiple times, and he attempted to shoot her, but he missed.Houston cops responding to the event managed to catch up to the husband, who had sped away from the scene in a Maserati sports car.Officers were able to stop the 61-year-old, who subsequently exited the vehicle and shot himself in the head.The man was taken to Houston Northwest Hospital in critical condition and is not expected to survive the wounds sustained by the gunshot.
