And could he be headed back behind bars?Actor Mikey North dished on how Gary's world as he knows it is coming to an end, telling Daily Star: "[The storyline] was nicely done, because Laura asks Gary to be Kelly's legal guardian and he goes for a drink with Maria."They say, 'Throughout all of this hardship this was meant to be, we’re finally coming out the other side of it, and maybe we can make a new life here and start again, try to stop thinking about what Gary’s done.'"The actor elaborated: "He’s become so used to it, and while he can be quite cunning, I think he has just gotten used to living with it - especially in the last year or so."Life has somewhat returned a bit more to normal and it’s been nice to have some lighter scenes and to play a bit of the lighter stuff with Tim and Sally, so it’s almost been forgotten about."But of course it’s always

Coronation Street's Samia Longchambon admitted she made a grave error when coming face-to-face with Prince Charles. The star, who plays Maria Connor on the ITV cobbles, appeared on Loose Women on Wednesday (March 9) to discuss her current storyline, which sees Maria's partner Gary face up to the murder of Rick Neelan. And the conversation soon turned to one of her most memorable on-set moments - which came as the Prince of Wales visited the Manchester-based set.Frankie Bridge kicked off the conversation by asking: "You've had a very special moment with Prince Charles, haven't you?"Giggling, Samia admitted: "Oh, yeah - I got asked by your lovely researchers what on of my highlights was, and one that always sticks out in my mind is when I was literally 18, so we're going back 22 years ago."Prince Charles was visiting the set and we all got told the protocols and what you need to say when you meet a member of the Royal Family."I think it was like, 'Pleased to meet you, your Royal Highness', and then curtsy."My nerves went, and I just forgot everything and said, 'Hiya, you all right? Welcome to Manchester!'"Frankie couldn't help stirring the pot a little as she asked: "Did you get in trouble?" - but Samia was notoriously tight-lipped.Samia also spilled some details of the upcoming Coronation Street storyline which - spoiler - sees Kelly's mum Laura move in with Gary and Maria. The no-nonsense mum soon makes herself at home, going as far as to steal Maria's mattress - and leaving Maria worried that Gary's secret might come out.Though the viewers are already aware that he murdered Laura's husband - and Kelly's dad - Rick, nobody on the street except Maria, and possibly Sarah, knows. The interview came after a segment featuring a

Inside Corrie Adam Barlow star's life - footballer ex, reality TV stint and throwback snaps
Coronation Street hunk Sam Robertson has had quite the ride as resident ladies man Adam Barlow. The Scottish actor has made his mark in Weatherfield over the years as his character enjoyed a string of flings with the female residents including Maria Connor, Rosie Webster and Eva Price. In fact, he even hooked up with his uncle's partner Carla Connor before finally marrying Sarah Platt. So perhaps it comes as no surprise that the latest storyline for Adam will see him and wife Sarah pick up a nasty stalker in the build-up to Valentine's Day.However, for Sam, his real-life couldn't be further than the man he plays on screen.Sam, 36, was famously linked to ex-ladies footballer and BBC Sport pundit Alex Scott after they were spotted enjoying a cosy date together. They were seen enjoying a cosy candlelit dinner and drinks at London's Dean Street Townhouse back in September 2018.However, the romance was short-lived because they couldn't get any privacy and found themselves all over the news after just one date.Alex explained: "My one date in ages was going out with Sam [Robertson], who is lovely."The next morning, our pictures were all over the press because someone in the restaurant had taken a photo."It wasn't exactly a great start!"Sam was controversially rumoured to have had a fling with his Coronation Street co-star Faye Brookes aka Kate Connor. At the time the actress was on a break from her relationship with pop star Gareth Gates. At the time a source alleged to The Sun: "It was the talk of the Coronation Street set when Faye and Sam hooked up."Sam was a good friend and a shoulder to cry on. Before they realised it, one thing had led to another.
