In an exclusive interview with OK! this week, Liberty X star Michelle Heaton beams with pride after having celebrated one year of sobriety.Ten years ago, following two major cancer prevention procedures - Michelle going through a premature surgical menopause at just 34 years of age.The Geordie singer plummeted into a spiral of depression, turning to both alcohol and drugs to ease the numerous medical blows she’d received. All of this had a huge impact of her marriage to husband Hugh Hanley and on their children Faith, 10, and AJ, eight. In April last year, the now 42-year-old mum-of-two made the brave decision to check in to The Priory rehabilitation facility in a final bid to save herself and repair relationships with her family.

911 singing star Lee Brennan has posted a video on Instagram to celebrate his 51st birthday, surprising fans with the way he looks as he appears much younger than his age. Prior to that, she opted to undergo a full hysterectomy at the age of 35 after discovering she was genetically at high risk of ovarian cancer.The procedure threw her body into early menopause, which the star has since described as “crippling”.

Michelle, who often gives fans glimpses into her workout routines, posted the video captioned: “back and bicep attack” as she is seen doing barbell rows and dumbbell curls before posing and showing off her muscular physique.The star penned: “Saturday morning we train ‼ Love a weight lifting session.” Michelle then listed the benefits of weight training as she said: “ Benefits of Strength Training: - Increase Muscle Size and Strength - Strength training can help increase muscle size and strength - Improve Cardiovascular Health - Increase Bone Density - Stabilize and Protect Joints - Reduce Body Fat - Support Mental Well-being - Improve Sleep Quality”.

The record was released on 13 May 2002 on the group’s debut album Thinking it Over and became one Liberty X’s most successful tracks. As well as reaching number one in the UK, it was well-received abroad and appeared in the top 10 in Australia, Ireland, the Netherlands and New Zealand.
