Herpes might be a cure for cancer according to groundbreaking research
cancer - and it comes in an unsuspecting form.New preliminary research published this week suggests that a genetically modified version of the herpes virus could be used to treat difficult tumours.One patient who had an advanced form of the disease even experienced a total remission after receiving the treatment, so far lasting for 15 months, it was revealed in the European Society for Medical Oncology Congress (ESMO).
