HBO Max renewed Gossip Girl for season 2 ahead of the release of the second part of its debut season set to premiere in Nov.

The CW has given a straight-to-series order to Tom Swift, based on the classic book series Tom Swift, with a twist, for the 2021-22 season. Tom Swift comes from Nancy Drew co-creators/executive producers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, their Fake Empire banner and CBS Studios.

British actress Eliza Bennett has joined the CW drama Dynasty in the role of Amanda Carrington. She will become a series regular in season 5.

HBO Max said Thursday that its Gossip Girl reboot will return in November for Part 2 of its first season with the final six episodes. A specific date was not announced.

It is the first series order to come from the deal.In “City on Fire,” an NYU student is shot in Central Park on the 4th of July, 2003.

Apple has given a series order to City On Fire, a drama inspired by Garth Risk Hallberg’s novel of the same name, from Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage (Gossip Girl). This marks the first series order to hail from Schwartz and Savage’s first look deal with Apple under their Fake Empire Productions banner. Produced by Apple Studios, the eight-episode first season will premiere globally on Apple TV+.
