King Charles III has gathered a star-studded guest list for his Coronation ceremony in Westminster Abbey.

After months of meticulous planning, King Charles’ Coronation is finally here! The special ceremony, which takes place at Westminster Abbey, will officially see the new monarch formally crowed the king, eight months on since his accession to the throne following the death of his mother Queen Elizabeth last September.The historic occasion will no doubt be a staple in many calendars around the world, as it marks the first coronation the United Kingdom has seen in over 70 years, with viewers from all corners of the globe set to tune into the special broadcast that will see the coronation streamed to millions. With just hours to go until the pageantry truly kicks off with a procession in the Diamond Jubilee State Coach that will see King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla travel from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Abbey, thousands of visitors have already begun to arrive in London in the hopes of securing the perfect viewing spot to watch the event unfold.

From members of the Royal Family attending a rehearsal in the capital to members of the Armed Forces conducting rehearsal processions under the cover of darkness, the countdown to King Charles III’s coronation is well and truly underway. In what will be the first coronation since Queen Elizabeth II was crowned in 1953, thousands of guests will gather at Westminster Abbey on Saturday 6 May to watch King Charles formally crowned in a service conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury.

Michelle Keegan has announced that she will be starring in the Netflix book adaptation of Harlan Coben’s Fool Me Once. The actor shared the news on Monday night (20 February), admitting that she was relieved to have revealed the “secret”. “Finally the secret’s out!” the former Coronation Street actor wrote on an Instagram caption of herself by a pool reading the book.
