Key to a Fortune star on 'scam' fear over Channel 4 show

It’s Location, Location, Location meets Who Do You Think You Are? over on Channel 4 as its latest show – Key To A Fortune – tracks down the rightful inheritors of grand properties, left to them by distant relatives with no will. Hosted by A Place In The Sun star Jean Johansson, the new series surprises unsuspecting heirs with these ownerless homes, giving them the choice to develop the property themselves – or sell it for a cash windfall.

A Place in the Sun's Lee Juggurnauth details 'issue' with Channel 4 role 'Not very glam'
A Place in the Sun since 2021 and has become a firm favourite on the show. The presenter has spoken exclusively to Express.co.uk on what he finds hard about his role and the areas of his job that are "not very glam".Lee joined the likes of Jasmine Harman, Laura Hamilton, Jonnie Irwin and Jean Johansson on the show.Express.co.uk asked Lee what he found hard on the show, with Lee's response giving an inside look to how A Place in the Sun works behind the scenes. He said: "My only issue is literally wearing the same thing every day."In the summer it gets very very hot, so when you’re wearing the same clothes for about three or four days and then you change on the last day."So, towards the end of the day, it’s not very glamorous when you’re kind of hand washing your stuff and putting it out to dry. "To stop this sometimes I buy two of each item.He continued: "But yeah, it’s really mad because I put so much effort into the way I look and I start off the show loving the outfit and then by mid week, you get to the point and you’re like ‘I’m never wearing this again’."Lee actually applied for A Place in the Sun three years prior to securing the role.He lost out to his now colleague Jean, but admitted it was his mum who made sure he didn't give up on the show.Lee said: "You know they kept me in mind and then 18 months later I got it."My mum always said that what’s meant to you won’t pass you and obviously at the time I was massively disappointed that I didn’t get it."But you kind of put a step forward and you just kind of move on doing other things at the same time."Then two years later they called me and they said, you know, we haven’t stopped thinking about you.
