ABC News correspondent Gio Benitez, who identifies as gay, has been promoted to a permanent co-anchor on the weekend edition of “Good Morning America.”

That will be our ongoing conversation for the next five years.”

Their replacements. Eva Pilgrim and DeMarco Morgan will officially be taking over for Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes as GMA3‘s newest coanchors after the latter pair’s network exit amid their affair scandal.
