Halle Berry has shared a new video on social media, where she reflects on her role in 1994’s The Flintstones, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.On Monday (May 27), Berry posted the clip on her Instagram page. “You guys message me every year about The Flintstones film so I thought I’d do something special for the 30th anniversary,” she wrote.In the video, the actress dissects a scene from the film that introduces her character to on-screen protagonists Fred Flintstone (John Goodman) and Barney Rubble (Rick Moranis).

Michael Schneider Variety Editor at Large Classic TV network MeTV is turning its cartoon block into a new network. Owner Weigel Broadcasting Co. announced Wednesday that it will launch MeTV Toons as a new national TV network focused on classic animation, “from Hollywood-era shorts to made-for-television favorites.” MeTV Toons, which launches June 25, is a collab between Weigel and Warner Bros.

Jimmy Weldon, a 1940s-era disc jockey and later kids TV host and voice actor whose ability to mimic a Donald Duck-like quacking voice led to his signature portrayal of a classic Hanna-Barbera cartoon duckling named Yakky Doodle, died July 6 in Paso Robles, California. He was 99.
