Blossoms have announced details of an extensive UK and Ireland tour for November and December 2022 - with tickets on sale from 9am on Friday August 5.

Working Men’s Club have today (May 31) shared a new single – check out ‘Ploys’ below.The song is taken from their recently announced second album, ‘Fear Fear’, and follows on from the previously released tracks, ‘Widow‘ and ‘Circumference‘.The band’s self-titled debut album came out in 2020, and they announced last September that its follow-up was finished.‘Fear Fear’ will come out on July 15 via Heavenly, and frontman Syd Minsky-Sargeant discussed its creation and themes in a statement, saying: “The first album was mostly a personal documentation lyrically, this is a blur between personal and a third-person perspective of what was going on.“I like the contrast of it being happy, uplifting music and really dark lyrics,” he added. “It’s not a minimal record, certainly compared to the first one.

Blossoms have shared a special version of ‘Everything About You’ from their new film Ribbon Around The Bomb – watch below.Directed by Edwin Burdis (who worked with Arctic Monkeys on the visuals for ‘Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino’ and ‘AM’), the project serves as a companion piece to the Stockport band’s fourth album of the same name.Tomorrow (May 3) Blossoms will air Ribbon Around The Bomb film at Stockport Plaza Theatre in their hometown before performing their new record in its entirety. Ahead of the event, the group have today (May 2) offered a preview in the form of ‘Everything About You’.In the clip, frontman Tom Odgen sits alone in Stockport Plaza as we hear a stripped-back acoustic take on the aforementioned song.

Blossoms have announced details of a new film based around their upcoming ‘Ribbon Around The Bomb’, and a premiere event where they’ll perform live.The Stockport five-piece’s fourth album is set for release on April 29, and has been previewed by the singles ‘The Sulking Poet’, ‘Ode To NYC’, ‘Care For’ and its title track.On May 3, the week after the album’s release, the band will head home to Stockport’s Plaza Theatre for the premiere of a new film, also called Ribbon Around The Bomb and directed by Arctic Monkeys‘ Creative Director, Edwin Burdis, who worked on the band’s ‘Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino’ and ‘AM’ albums, as well as the videos for Blossoms’ new album campaign.Following the film premiere, Blossoms will play the new album in full. This song touches on the imposter syndrome I’ve sometimes felt in the past.
