CVC have shared details of their highly anticipated debut album, ‘Get Real’.Alongside the announcement, the South Wales rockers have offered a first taste of the album in the form of lead single ‘Good Morning Vietnam’. Ross Orton, who previously worked with Arctic Monkeys, mixed the record.Explaining what the new single is about, the band said: “It’s about a time when everyone around us seemed to be wrapped up in Tinder and one-night stands.”“The album was recorded with love in the living room of a student house in Cardiff around one microphone, as we searched for a new sound,” they continued.

Working Men’s Club have announced a new remix EP, called ‘The Steel City’, which will see producers from Sheffield reimagine tracks from the band’s ‘Fear Fear’ album.The EP will be released exclusively through Sheffield independent record store Bear Tree as a limited-edition bonus CD alongside the new album, which arrives on July 15.Working Men’s Club frontman and songwriter Syd Minsky Sargeant has become immersed in the city’s musical community since recording their self-titled debut album there. Working Men’s Club have shared a new 21-minute ‘MEGAMIX’ on the day their debut album was supposed to be released.The group’s self-titled debut was due to arrive today (June 5), but has been postponed until October due to the coronavirus pandemic.The new mix was created by frontman Sydney Minksy-Sargeant and producer Ross Orton, and takes the form of a condensed, electronic reworking of the forthcoming record.
