HBO Orders Nathan Fielder Series ‘The Rehearsal’
Mónica Marie Zorrilla HBO has given a series order to Canadian comedian Nathan Fielder’s “The Rehearsal,” a new half-hour series from the co-creator behind Comedy Central’s cringe docu-reality show “Nathan for You.”“The Rehearsal’s” official description is as follows: “In a world where nothing seems to ever work out as you had hoped, Nathan Fielder gives people the opportunity to rehearse for their own lives.” So far, the only cast confirmed is Fielder himself.Executive producing the new comedy are Fielder, who is also writing and directing, and Christie Smith and Dan McManus via Rise Management.Fielder is repped by UTA, Rise Management and Ziffren Brittenham LLP.More to come.
