Singer Christy Dignam revealed today that his elderly father is not doing well after he tested positive for Covid-19 last week.

Aslan frontman Christy Dignam has shared his perspective on the ongoing health crisis as someone who is considered ‘high risk’ due to his health.

Six O’Clock Show.Speaking to hosts Muireann O’Connell and Martin King, the Aslan star shared: ‘Beaumont here are going to keep on top of things so I started treatment last week so I’m going into another course of chemotherapy so it’s a 16-week course.’The Crazy World singer would usually receive his treatment in Royal Free Hospital in London but due to current restrictions, he hasn’t been allowed to travel.He explained: ‘That’s what was happening even with me because I give bloods all the time and the Royal’s for me monitor the bloods and they give the prognosis to Beaumont.‘So because none of that was happening the cancer was progressing and progressing so I just knew in myself the way I felt that it had come back.’‘So I rang my
