Aslan frontman Christy Dignam has shared his perspective on the ongoing health crisis as someone who is considered ‘high risk’ due to his health.
Christy, 59, spoke on the Ray D’Arcy Show on RTE One on Tuesday and confessed he has spent the past three weeks stuck at home amid the ‘terrifying’ situation with the COVID-19 pandemic.
The singer was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer back in 2013 and as a result, he is at high risk of catching the virus. As he explained, he splits his time between receiving treatment in London and Beaumont Hospital in Dublin, however, with the UK in lockdown and the threat of the virus, he has been unable to travel.
