Snail Mail has shared a euphoric cover of The Smashing Pumpkins’ ‘Tonight, Tonight’ – check it out below.Snail Mail – real name Lindsey Jordan – recorded a version of the Smashing Pumpkins’ beloved 1996 song for the A24 indie film I Saw The TV Glow back in January. Now, the cover is available via streaming services for the first time.As well as appearing on the soundtrack, Jordan also made her movie acting debut in the film, directed by Jane Schoenbrun.Speaking about the song, Jordan said: “This all came together really serendipitously.

Weezer feature in a new Netflix new Christmas film called Family Switch.The US rock band – Rivers Cuomo, Brian Bell, Scott Shriner, and Patrick Wilson – make a surprise cameo in the new festive comedy, which stars Jennifer Garner and Ed Helms.The film is a spin on the 2003 classic Freaky Friday, with the synopsis reading: “When a chance encounter with an astrological reader causes the Walkers to wake up to a full body switch, can they unite to land a promotion, college interview, record deal, and soccer tryout?”The band make up the remaining members of Bill’s (Helms) garage band Dad or Alive. Director McG (Joseph McGinty Nichol), revealed his motivation to include the band in the film during an interview with Netflix’s Tudum, sharing that he “grew up on Weezer”.

Jennifer Garner, Ed Helms, Brady Noon and Emma Myers were a happy family on the red carpet at the premiere for their new Netflix movie Family Switch.
