Meghan Markle could be 'falling from grace' after her Netflix axing, a royal commentator has warned.The streamer recently confirmed that it would no longer be moving forward with the Duchess of Sussex's animated series Pearl, which was set to follow an eponymously-named 12-year-old girl as she meets influential women throughout history.Speaking to Palace Confidential, journalist and royal commentator Andrew Pierce warned the snub could signal the beginning of "woke warrior Queen" Meghan's fall from public favour.Of the Archewell Production show's cull from the Netflix slate, Andrew said: "What does it say about the fall from grace of Meghan?"This contract is not even two years old and they've realised already that her celebrity is fading in the United States… "I think Netflix are working out that they are not the investment they thought they were."[Pearl] was very important to Meghan herself who's the great woke warrior Queen – it's a real blow to her prestige and ego."Meghan and her husband Prince Harry announced their multi-million dollar deal with Netflix in September 2020 under the banner of the couple's production company Archewell Productions.Pearl was one of their planned collaborations, with Meghan and David Furnish signed on as executive producers.
