We’ve been saying it for years now. Jim Bob Duggar practices a sexist and controlling form of religion — and should never have been given a platform on reality TV.

We’ve heard from several of Josh Duggar‘s family members since his prison sentence was handed down this week. Though we are talking about the 19 Kids and Counting clan here, so in the grand scheme 3 or 4 Duggars is nothing.

Amy Duggar King is releasing a sigh of relief after her cousin, Josh Duggar, was sentenced to 151 months, more than 12 years, in prison for child pornography. The former 19 Kids and Counting family member took to Instagram to share her thoughts on the case and be transparent with her followers about her emotional process throughout the proceedings. “I can breathe,” Amy said in a video that she noted was purposely unfiltered. “I knew him getting the maximum sentence wasn’t going to be the easiest to prove since it’s his first offense in the judge’s eyes — which I hate -- but at the same time, he cannot have his computer, he cannot hurt [and] exploit any more children and when he sees his kids, he has to be supervised,” she explained. Josh shares seven children with his wife, Anna, 12-year-old Mackynzie, Michael, 10, Marcus, 8, Meredith, 6, Mason, 4, Maryella, 2, and 7-month old Madyson.A post shared by Amy King (@amyrachelleking)Josh was initially found guilty of receiving and possessing child pornography, a federal charge, in December 2021.

Amy Duggar is not done putting her family members on blast for supporting her cousin, Josh Duggar, despite him being convicted for receiving and possessing child pornography. But this time, she is directly calling out his wife, Anna Duggar.

Speaking out. Amid the news that Jana Duggar was charged with a misdemeanor, cousin Amy King (née Duggar) has broken her silence with a supportive message.

Amy Duggar was happy to hear on December 9 that her cousin Josh Duggar was found guilty by a jury in his child pornography case. The 35-year-old said on Twitter that “justice has been served” immediately following Josh’s guilty verdict. The former reality star, 33, now faces up to 20 years in prison, as well as $250,000 in fines, with a sentencing date to come. “May the daughters who were abused feel validated,” Amy said on Twitter. “You are truly beautiful and worthy of love. May there be intense counseling / healing. May there be wisdom for all those involved on how to move forward. Thank you Jesus. Justice has been served.”

Hoping for change. Amy Duggar seemed to make her stance clear as her cousin Josh Duggar awaits his sentencing in his ongoing child pornography trial.

Amy Duggar, 35, was one of the first members of Josh Duggar‘s family to speak publicly about the start of the trial in his child pornography case. The cousin of the 33-year-old reality star shared messages that appeared to include prayers about “vengeance” and more on her Twitter and Instagram pages shortly before the trial began on Nov. 30.

Raising awareness. Amy Duggar chose to speak out about her past experience with abuse to support people that may still be in a harmful relationship.

Amy Duggar Dillon, 35, is a happy mom to son Daxton, 2, and wife to Dillon King, and after posting a cryptic message on social media about cutting toxic family out of her life, she has no regrets. “I 100% stand for that message,” Amy told HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY on Oct. 4. “I have created those boundaries in our life to protect Daxton and to protect myself.”
